The main obstacles for entrepreneurship are related to the quality of public administration – survey

The “Democratic Initiatives” Foundation conducted a survey of Ukrainians on the perception of corruption, during which Ukrainians were asked, in particular, what hinders the development of entrepreneurship in Ukraine.

The results are interesting because “devastation caused by war” took the second place among the answers (37%). Instead, almost half of the respondents (47%) noted that corruption is an obstacle to the development of entrepreneurship in the country. The third and fourth places among the obstacles were taken by an inadequate system of tax administration and control and weak support from the state (36%).

It is significant that the problems that directly depend on the quality of public administration occupy three of the four first positions, which, according to Ukrainians, hinder the development of entrepreneurship.
