Ust-Dauna port in Odesa region was privatized. It was sold at an open auction in January 2023 for UAH 201 million at the starting price of UAH 60 million. The winner, Elixir Ukraine LLC, also paid UAH 40 million in VAT. At the end of August, the port officially passed to a new owner.

According to the State Property Fund, the new owner is interested in the strategic development of the port, increasing transshipment volumes, modernizing warehouses and purchasing modern handling equipment. The company also wants to build a grain elevator for 50,000 tons.

The port has become one of the most expensive objects sold since the resumption of privatization. In total, small privatization brought more than UAH 3.8 billion to the budget in one year.
