The cost of fuel increased by 3-5 hryvnias after the return of pre-war taxation

From July 1, Ukraine returned 20% VAT on fuel, which was paid at the level of 7% from March 2022. In addition, pre-war excise tax rates began to apply, in particular, for gasoline – 213.5 euros/1000 liters, for private vehicles – 139.5 euros/1000 liters, for autogas – 52 euros/1000 liters.

The return of pre-war taxation led to an increase in fuel and autogas prices in almost all networks. For example, at OKKO and WOG gas stations, A-95 and A-95-premium gasolines rose in price by UAH 3 and 2 per liter, respectively, and diesel fuel by UAH 5 per liter.
