The state property fund earned a record amount for the last 10 years from privatization in the first quarter.
In the first 3 months of 2023, the state budget received UAH 902 million from privatization. In previous years, privatization for the first quarter brought in UAH 234 million on average.
In the first three months of the year, FDMU put logistics, trade, warehouse, alcohol and other assets up for auction. Among the achievements, it was the first time to privatize a seaport in Ukraine. Its sale brought more than UAH 200 million to the budget.
For 2023, the Fund aims to attract UAH 6 billion to the 2023 state budget. But this will be possible only if the law on unblocking large-scale privatization is passed.
