Privatization is for the benefit of communities

Since the start of the full-scale war, local budgets have received more than 2 billion hryvnias from small-scale privatization, leasing of state property and sale of land in the state electronic system Prozorro.Prodaži.
 
Of this amount, the community received almost 1.3 billion hryvnias from the sale of land, 773 million hryvnias from small-scale privatization, and 43 million hryvnias from leasing state property.
 
In general, for more than five years of the implementation of the small privatization reform, Ukraine received more than 15 billion hryvnias from the sale of state and communal property through online auctions. Of these, 4.5 billion hryvnias came as a result of privatization online auctions after the start of the full-scale invasion.
 
We will not tire of repeating that, contrary to all myths, privatization is the way to attract investment, overcome corruption, develop entrepreneurship, create jobs and grow the economy in general.
