Over 1,200 state-owned enterprises will be liquidated by 2025

Over 1,200 state-owned enterprises will be liquidated by 2025.

350 of them already this year. This was reported by the State Property Fund, which currently manages more than 2,300 objects, or 65% of state assets.

In the course of their sorting, the Fund identified the objects that will be handed over for liquidation. Among them, 50% do not have any assets, 10% do not work, but have assets that can be sold at an open auction through Prozorro.Sales, 10% have lost their assets, but there is still an opportunity to recover them through the court and then sell them, and 30% are potential bankrupts. The latter can be liquidated under the bankruptcy procedure.

Liquidation of non-performing assets will allow to reduce the debt burden on the budget, return debts to employees accumulated over the years, and create a new business using the property of unprofitable enterprises.
