A loss-making state hotel was sold for 115 million in Lviv

Privatization successes: an unprofitable state hotel was sold in Lviv for 115 million
The price of the Vlasta hotel at the privatization auction increased 16 times. The starting price was 6.9 million. 23 investors participated in the auction.

Vlasta Hotel, being in state ownership, was unprofitable. In particular, in 2020 he received a net loss of UAH 251,000, in 2021 – UAH 78,000, for January-September 2022 – UAH 421,000.

With the transition to private ownership, the hotel will be able to become a successful business, create new jobs and bring funds to the state budget.

Let us remind you that in 2022 the winners of the privatization tenders transferred UAH 1.7 billion to the state budget.
