A billion from privatization got into the state budget

The first billion after the restoration of small privatization is in the state budget.

For September-November, the State Property Fund held more than 120 small privatization auctions. The total amount of winning bids is UAH 1.8 billion. Of them, 1 billion has already entered the Ukrainian budget.

By the end of the year, the fund plans to hold more than 50 auctions, and in 2023 – to resume large-scale privatization.

As the fund notes, competition at auctions for the privatization of state property remains at a high level — 4-5 participants, due to which the price of objects increases significantly.
Thanks to privatization, a more efficient private owner will appear in unprofitable state facilities, which will create new business and new jobs at these facilities.
