115 instruments will be canceled in the agricultural sector

Deregulation of the agricultural sector: most permits will be canceled.

Institute for Economic Leadership

An interagency working group on deregulation, which includes the chairman of the Economic Leadership Institute, has completed a review of regulatory tools for businesses in the agricultural sector. In total, the group analyzed 120 instruments (permits, certificates, declarations, etc.) and proposed to cancel or modernize almost all of them. Only 5 – it is proposed to leave it unchanged.

For example, it is proposed to cancel such unnecessary permits as the permit to install electrical devices for heating water in the premises for animals and poultry, the permit for the manufacture of stamps for branding leather and fur, approval of the location of fish receiving points, etc.

Such nonsensical regulatory instruments hinder entrepreneurial activity and create space for corruption and pressure on business. Instead, deregulation will make it easier to do business and increase the level of economic freedom. And this, in turn, will lead to an increase in domestic and foreign investments and the formation of a favorable climate for economic growth.
